VIETNAM PRESS-Vietnam detains Philippine, Australian over drugs - Thanh Nien

A Philippine woman arriving at Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat International Airport on Tuesday was detained as the Vietnamese customs found 1.64 kg (3.6 lb) of cocaine in her luggage, the Thanh Nien (Young People) newspaper reports.

On the same day, the customs at the airport detained an Australian passport holder for attempt to smuggle around 3 kg of decongestant Pseudoephedrine out of the country, the report said. The substance can be used to make methamphetamine.
