S.Africa's Numsa union to strike in platinum sector

JOHANNESBURG, Jan 30 (Reuters) - South Africa's metalworkers union said on Thursday it will down tools at a smelter of top platinum producer Anglo American Platinum from Feb 5.

"We will give notice to strike next week," said Steven Nhlapo, an official for the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa.
