SYDNEY, Jan 16 (Reuters) - The Australian dollar plumbed a 3-1/2-year low on Thursday after a soft employment report raised market expectations of another cut in interest rates.

The Aussie skidded more than one percent to $0.8815, its lowest since August 2010, while interbank futures and bank bill futures rose.
