NZ dollar rallies on strong NZ business confidence poll

WELLINGTON, Feb 28 (Reuters) - The New Zealand dollar hit a six-week high after a survey showed domestic business confidence at a 20-year high, underlining strength in the country's economy.

The ANZ Bank's monthly business outlook survey showed that business confidence jumped to 70.8 in February from 64.1 in January. News Search ID:nW9N0IO02K

The kiwi dollar NZD=D4 climbed 0.3 percent on the day to $0.8397 its highest since mid-January, and also rose against the Australian dollar AUDNZD=R , the yen and other currencies.
