New Zealand dollar hit hard after RBNZ keeps rates steady

SYDNEY, Jan 30 (Reuters) - The New Zealand dollar fell more than half a U.S. cent early on Thursday after the Reserve Bank of New Zealand left interest rates unchanged, dashing some expectations for a hike in rates.

The kiwi fell as far as $0.8200 NZD=D4 from around $0.8270 before the policy decision. It was last at $0.8205. See
