New Zealand dlr lifted by encouraging jobs data

SYDNEY, Feb 5 (Reuters) - The New Zealand dollar NZD=D4 rose a quarter of a U.S. cent on Wednesday after encouraging jobs data reinforced the case for an interest rate hike soon.

The kiwi dollar climbed to $0.8250, from $0.8204 in early trade. It has bounced 2 percent since Tuesday to last trade at $0.8238.
