Kinross fourth-quarter net loss narrows

Feb 12 (Reuters) - Kinross Gold Corp on Wednesday said its fourth-quarter net loss narrowed from the same quarter a year earlier when it had a big writedown on two mines.

Kinross reported a net loss of $740 million, or 65 cents a share, in the three months to end-December compared with a loss of $2.98 billion, or $2.62, in the same period a year ago.
