Hochtief sees higher net profit in 2014 after in-line 2013

FRANKFURT, Feb 27 (Reuters) - German construction company Hochtief HOTG.DE reported 2013 pretax profit and sales that were largely in line with consensus and forecast a higher net profit for 2014.

It said on Thursday pretax profit rose to 799.8 million euros ($1.09 billion) and sales were at 25.69 billion euros, compared with forecasts in a Reuters poll for 792 million euros and 25.36 billion euros respectively.

It also announced it would propose a dividend of 1.50 euros per share compared with the 1.00 euros paid out last year. ($1 = 0.7317 euros)
