Dollar hits seven-week low against yen

TOKYO, Jan 27 (Reuters) - The dollar fell below 102 yen, hitting a seven-week low in early trade on Monday as a selloff in emerging market currencies prompted investors to seek shelter in the Japanese yen.

The dollar was last traded at 101.89 yen JPY= , its weakest level since Dec. 6. The yen has strengthened more than 2 yen over the past three sessions. The euro also fell to a seven-week low of 139.25 yen .
