** Shares in Lenovo Group Ltd 0992.HK slumped more than 16 percent on Tuesday after a weekend media report said the Chinese personal computer maker was in talks with Sony Corp 6758.T about a possible joint venture to buy Sony's loss-making Vaio PC business outside Japan. News Search ID:nL3N0L90G3

** French oil major Total TOTF.PA said on Tuesday it was selling its 15 percent stake in an offshore oil block in Angola to the country's state oil firm, Sonangol, for 750 million euros ($1.01 billion). News Search ID:nWEB00HMA

** Panasonic Corp 6752.T said on Tuesday it would sell chip assembly plants in Southeast Asia to a unit of Singapore's UTAC Holdings Ltd as it moves into the final stages of a sweeping restructuring to unload unprofitable operations.
