* Recommencement of mining at ellendale's E4 mine KDL.AX

* Says plans to recommence mining at Ellendale'S E4 Mine this year

* Says E4 operation was placed on care and maintenance in February 2009

* KDL board approved capital expenditure of A$11.9 million plus a 20 percent contingency to refurbish and re-equip E4 plant

* Work to refurbish the plant will commence immediately
