* To acquire Sterling Early Education and 91 childcare and education centres

* Says aggregate purchase price of $228 million

* Will fund cash component of each of acquisitions through combination of cash reserves and debt arrangements

* Says centres are expected to contribute to EBIT immediately upon settlement
