BRIEF-DrdGold posts 8 pct fall in H1 gold production

JOHANNESBURG, Feb 5 (Reuters) - DRDGOLD Ltd DRDJ.J :

* Says 4 pct rise in gold production, 17 pct increase in operating profit

* Says drop in all-in sustaining costs of 14 pct

* For the half-year ended 31 December 2013 gold production was down 8 pct compared with the first six months of FY 2013

* Says cash operating profit was down 62 pct on the back of the drop in production in half year ended December 31
