* HY net profit for period attributable to members down 73 pct to A$21 mln

* HY total revenues A$371.1 million, down 5 percent

* Expects NPAT in H2 FY14 to be in the range of $70 million - $80 million

* Conscious of the issues surrounding announced patent dispute, will appeal any materially negative judgment

* Interim dividend per share 127 cents

* In the short term, co continues to see market pressures in the USA
