BRIEF-CCMA to meet AMCU to resolve platinum strike

JOHANNESBURG, March 26 (Reuters) - CCMA:

* Facilitated process between AMCU and Lonmin, Anglo American Platinum Impala Platinum to resolve platinum strike will continue today

* During the course of this week, the CCMA mediators will conduct separate en gagements with the trade union and the platinum producers

* Says meeting with AMCU has been scheduled for today, Wednesday 26 March 2014

JOHANNESBURG, March 26 (Reuters) - South Africa's government mediator said it will meet with the striking Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (AMCU) on Wednesday to restart talks aimed at ending a strike now entering its tenth week.

The Commission for Conciliation Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) also said in a statement it would meet separately with companies Anglo American Platinum AMSJ.J , Impala Platinum

IMPJ.J and Lonmin this week.
