BRIEF-CapitaLand places its remaining stake in Australand for S$970.1 mln

March 19 (Reuters) - CapitaLand Limited CATL.SI :

* Acquisitions and disposals discloseable transaction CapitaLand places

out its remaining stake in Australand

* Aggregate consideration for the secondary placement is A$848.8 million

(approximately S$970.1 million)

* Says consideration for the secondary placement will be paid in cash upon

completion

* Upon completion, CapitaLand is expected to recognise a net gain of

approximately S$35.7 million
