BRIEF-Calibre says co's unit awarded $22 mln contract from Rio Tinto Iron Ore

Feb 14 (Reuters) - Calibre Group Ltd CGH.AX :

* Says wholly owned engineering and project delivery business, Calibre global pty ltd, has been awarded a $22 million contract from Rio Tinto iron ore

* Says deal to provide epcm services for the implementation phase of the brownfields expansion of the west angelas iron ore mine in Western Australia

* Says will commence the project immediately, with completion expected by the H1 FY 2015
