* Operational review for the half year ended 31 December 2013 BHP.AX

* Q2 total petroleum products production 57.7 million boe versus 59.9 million BOE a year ago

* Says full year production guidance maintained for our petroleum, copper, iron ore and coal businesses

* Q2 copper production 439.9 thousand tonnes versus 295.2 thousand tonnes a year ago

* BHP billiton's share of capital and exploration expenditure for the 2014 financial year is expected to be US$16.1 billioni, as planned

* Q2 iron ore production 48.9 million tonnes versus 42.2 million tonnes a year ago

* Q2 metallurgical coal production 11.5 million tonnes versus 8.89 million tonnes a year ago

* We expect to carry strong momentum into the second half of the financial year"

* Says escondida remains on track to produce approximately 1.1 million tonnes of copper in the 2014 financial year
