Gold ended lower on Friday, giving up $5.90 to finish just below $1350. Silver shed about $.20 to end at $16.60, but platinum and palladium bucked the trend to end higher. Incidentally, we note from our palladium chart on the next page that despite the recent selloff, the uptrend in palladium still is intact (red line) and therefore another rally to fresh highs cannot be ruled out based on technicals alone
